Memberships
The WestVic Committee is pleased to welcome you to WestVic Hockey club.
We are very conscious of the costs associated with playing hockey. The contribution from our wonderful sponsors, Hockey Ballarat and Brown Ink enable us to provide as much as possible for players at the lowest possible cost.
Fundraising including BBQs at home games, and those run by the junior parents on Saturday mornings, has contributed greatly to keeping our fees to a minimum.
Your fees help pay for transport to away games from Ballarat, coaching, pitch hire, lighting, Hockey Victoria (HV) affiliation, umpiring and competition fees.
Registration: Registration is the responsibility of each player, and is paid directly to Hockey Victoria. There is a link to this on the HV website http://hockeyvictoria.org.au/. You cannot play without this registration. The registration and insurance associated with this registration covers players across all hockey clubs and competitions for the entire season.
Further information is available from managers, coaches and the websites for Hockey Victoria, WestVic and Hockey Ballarat or other local associations.
Please note: it is very important that players pay their fees by the due date so that the Club can meet ongoing costs associated with our participation in the HV competition.

Uniform is not included in fees.
It can be organised through your team manager.
Payment Details.
Fee invoices will be emailed or supplied by your team managers at the start of the season.

Casual Player Fees.
In addition to the above fees, Westvic also offers a casual player rate:
- The Casual fee will be set per team
- This fee is paid directly into WestVic account and must be paid before you take the field
- It doesn’t include uniform – this will be lent for the match and needs to be returned to your manager immediately after the match
- Should a Casual player play more than half the season, full fees will be applicable and uniform will need to be purchased
